Mission Statement
The Early Learning Center is a ministry of Stillwater Church. It is our desire to teach God’s love and exemplify Jesus in our daily interactions with children. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment coupled with quality, age-appropriate education for children six-weeks old through K4.
Teaching Philosophy
We work to incorporate biblical principles throughout our learning opportunities while providing a Christian perspective of the world. We believe that the love of Christ can be experienced early in a child’s development. Our team of early childhood educators strives to use developmentally appropriate practices, focusing on the child’s social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth. Intentional small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios allow for individualized attention and success during whole class, teacher-directed instruction. Child-directed activity centers coupled with hands-on experiences engage each child’s natural curiosity and encourage the exploration of God’s world at a child’s own pace.
The Early Learning Center works cooperatively with parents to implement the process of a Christian education. We welcome a diversity of children who can experience God’s love, grow in it, and carry it into the world.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition: Effective August 2023
Fees:
Registration $100.00/year (non refundable)
Program Fees $150.00/year (non refundable)
Cleaning Fees $30.00 twice/year (August & February) (non refundable)
Fees are monthly and take into account the days the center is closed. (We deduct the weeks and days we are closed and divide the yearly tuition by 12)
Billing will be sent around the 1st of the month. ACH withdrawal will occur around the 5th of the month. 
Stillwater Church active members receive a 10% discount on tuition.
Sibling Discount is 5% off of oldest child.
If for some reason your child needs to be withdrawn, a 30 day written notice must be given.
No refunds will be issued for paid tuition.
Meals & Snacks
Parents must provide snacks, lunches, and drinks for the day.
Ages
Classes are available for ages six-weeks old through K4. (Children cannot be old enough to attend kindergarten.)
Calendar
A calendar is published annually and can be emailed upon request. We follow Saraland City School’s calendar in regards to inclement weather.
