The Saraland UMC mission team will be involved in a variety of tasks including light carpentry work, organizing a medical infirmary, and projects that the orphanage needs to have done. They will get to spend play time with local children every day. Please keep this group in your prayers as they become the hands and feet of Christ at Casa on the Rock in Guatemala!

The purpose of the ministry is stated as: “Casa Para Niños Aleluya was started in 1989 with the sole purpose of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to the suffering children of Guatemala. Through the housing, feeding, and education of the children, we are able teach them about the unconditional love that many of them did not receive from their home. It is our belief that these children will become the future leaders of Guatemala and will make significant improvements to the country byapplying the Christian principles they are learning at our home.”
