Community Groups
You are invited to join one of our 5 small groups who gather in homes regularly for fellowship, prayer and study. Learn More

United Methodist Men
Come to our monthly breakfast for all men on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 7:00 AM. Also, bring your aluminum cans to the church for UMM to recycle. All proceeds benefit the UMM Scholarship Program.
Sunday School
A variety of classes are offered Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for adults and children.
Discovery 101
An invitation to discover more about Saraland UMC. This 1 hour class is held once a month on the Second Sunday. Contact Betty Moye to sign up.   Learn More
St. Francis Street
An SUMC team cooks and serves breakfast on the second Saturday of each month for the homeless at the downtown Mobile church. Sign up to help!

Adult and Family Ministries

  • Men's and Women's Ministries

  • Adult Sunday School
    Each Sunday at 10:00 as many as 100 or more adults gather to learn more about the Bible in one of several Adult Sunday School classes. Click on the link to learn about these classes.
     
  • Wednesday Night Dinner and Bible Study
    Join us on Wednesday night for food and fellowship. We gather at 5:45 PM each Wednesday night during the school year for a delicious meal and a Bible study or special program. Click on the link to find out more and to make your reservation today!
     
  • Community Groups
    A community group is a small group of people who meet regularly in homes for fellowship, prayer, and study. They are like a supper club, Bible study, and prayer group all rolled into one.
    • Young Families Group: This group led by Crystal Couch meets in various group members homes and features a discussion based study. Contact Crystal Couch 675-1750 if you would like to attend.
    • Young Adult Group: This group of young singles and couples is led by Brian and Cassidy Hasty and meets in group members homes. This discussion based group is currently studying a book entitled Blue Like Jazz. Contact Brian Hasty, 675-1750 if you would like to attend.
    • Older Adult Group: This group is led by Judy Callen and they meet in group members homes. They study various books throughout the year. If you would like to attend contact Judy Callen at 675-2356.  
  • Discovery 101
    Would you like to know more about becoming a member of Saraland UMC? Discovery 101 is for you. Some topics we will discuss are: The basics of Christian faith, Unique United Methodist beliefs, Membership vows, and some important details about who we are as a church and our plans for the future. If you would like to participate, please call the office at 675-2728. A nursery will be provided if requested.
