Making Disciples Who Make a Difference
Saraland UMC
Amy and Don Woolley
Pastor Don Woolley moved to Saraland UMC in the summer of 2011. Don is originally from Arkansas and worked in Chemical Engineering until he entered the ministry in 1998. Don attended Asbury Seminary and had his first appointment as the Associate of Forest Park UMC in Panama City. He also started a new church called Jesus Tribe and served as the pastor of Pleasant Valley UMC for seven years and West Side UMC for two years.

Don has also had a lot of fun initiating and helping to lead some district initiatives, chiefly the 3.0 Missional Internship (www.3mlt.com) and the 3.0 Missional Leadership Development process, of which the Catapult Conference (www.catatpultconference.com) is a key component. The internship involves 27 college students working in six sites across our area, while living in Christian community and being trained as missional leaders.

Don is married to Amy (Eubanks) Woolley. Amy has a Masters degree in both Counseling and Special Education from the University of South Alabama. She works at Allentown Elementary as a Special Education teacher. They have two sons, Graham and Tanner. Graham is in sixth grade and Tanner is in fourth grade.
